In his defense Dakka, I've mined more than 161 ore in a few hours by just diving into underwater trenches and swimming around the bottom looking for visible nodes.

However I'm guessing his mineshafts and caves made it obvious.

Yes, the amount would be pretty irrelevant, it's just that he seemed to be implying he "never even dug any diamonds" in his original appeal, so I wanted to make it clear we know exactly what he mined.
His tunneling was indeed very obvious.
