How about a huge ass arena? Like someone just goes and builds a huge 1k by 1k arena or some shit, and we use that, resetting that map occasionally.

So, let me get this straight, we want to firstly: Reduce the size. And then turn the entire pvp world into spawn x 100.

i think mob escaping is a downfall. I thought we had a suggestion about that matter. I'd be happy with a small no teleport mob radius. And Gnat's idea of making it smaller sounds good since there is still a low chance of random encounters between people that are there. But going there to get resouces is one of the best aspects of it. If I stay home and gather local resources I'll never have to worry about getting attacked. Go to PVP for resources and i may happen upon some one else doing the same and one of us may go home with the other one's resources.

Honestly I agree, allowing people to get resources there is fun, and there are already some pretty huge mines there which I'd imagine to be fun to explore for anybody.

With regards to escaping mobs, how about no teleports if you're within 10 (or 5) blocks of a mob?

dont reduce the size.. its a big chance as it is to meet other players. cant be to dangerus

Make it 5 seconds without taking damage - that way we can lavaflood/drop trap combatloggers.

people already have to be 50 away from other players. so using it as a pvp escape is already covered. I think 10 is small enough since it's close enough for mobs to notice and attack you.
