I would like to try my hand at designing skins. Any ideas for what I should make? I'm thinking something along the lines of invisible. Does that work? ;)

invisible does NOT work. Let me repeat that invisible does NOT work. Tried it many times, not really as a form of hack but just to confirm the myth and all it does is give you a black or white skin. You're better off with a ghillie-suit skin, or a dirt camoflauge skin. I use both of those and they make you a bit harder to see..... oh and there are some other things like backward faces and whatnot, so people can't tell if your really looking at them, or fake diamond armor....

Fake diamond armor is stupid. The only thing you can properly fake is the helmet, thanks to the hat feature of skins, and when someone has no armor but a dia helmet... Yeah, you know something's up. I'm tempted to make a stone one, and hide in people's mines, ambushing them.

even a fake helmet doesn't work if it doesn't match the texture pack of whom ever is looking at you. Make a skin that looks like your self.

Been there, done that, multiple times, changing as my wardrobe does. On minershoes.com/editor you can look at people's current skin, feel free to check out mine. I'm thinking I'll make a ninja. Easy. All black, a touch of gray, and a stripe for the eyes.

Yeah, you can download other people's skins. Mine is slightly influenced by other people, but I made it myself for the most part, I started with a skin a long while back and edited it as I saw fit.

i have made my skin by my self from scratch:P it was very hardXD
