I keep getting this weird error when I try to get on the server; "Internal exception: java.net.SocketException: Connection reset". Does anyone know how to fix this?

If it's the main server, no idea.
If it's the 1.2 server, it wasn't you, the 1.2 server crashed and has just been restarted now.

I believe it is the message you get when connecting to say the main server with 1.2, as that one runs 1.1

Holy shit this lag. I get kicked out every 10 seconds and I get 242 ms. On skype, someone is also saying that it is lagging. I restarted my computer and all.

Yeah, I found out it was my ass of an Internet Service Provider, Gay-T&T. My download speed is so slow, I can't see what I say or others' responses until maybe 1 minute after before getting slow due to timeouts.
Speed test net:
Ping:89ms (25 miles/30 or 40 kilos)
Download: 0.01 MBps
Upload: 0.36 MBps
We're getting a new ISP very soon.

Go with shaw, it's what I use. Great connection. :) oh yeah, and I'm wondering if the server just went down? Can't seem to connect.
