I tried scratch, but got impatient, and gave up after I finished the face. Sigh. Well, hopefully I can find more time and actually make one from scratch. That'd be fun.

I made my U.S Soldier skin by scratch and had about 4 revisons done on It. I like it.

i originaly made y skin with pants and made the nude skin to offend the little girl spawnrats
