yet another unimaginative person. Let's change things up. Who thinks it's important to be buried in a box when they die. Personally i find it to be a gross waste of land. Also it's rather selfish to not let nature reclaim the body, just dump me in the woods when i go. If you need some thing to remember me by take my skull and decorate it like a mexican day of the dead skull. That would be cool.

If your consciousness has ended, I don't see the point of being buried, you won't know either way :P

i think the tradition started as simply a way to get rid of rotting humans. But i think, to this day, some people still think their body needs to be preserved so they can get it back in the after life. Others still fear being able to fell the damage done to their body after death. Many people use that as a reason to not donate their body to science.

And why many people feel the need to donate their bodies to necrophilia? :P

but if im not buried i cant come back as a zombie when that day comes!

the slight possiblity of zombies is a good enough reason for me to not want my body saved.

well there are zombies under the control of a necromancer or devil or some such but free roaming zombies such as those with some sort of infection do control them selves they have just suffered brain rot and function in limited capacities
