Meditation is a wonderful way to clear the mind and has proven health benefits. No argument there.
But meditating for world peace? Time better spent making sure your investments are as green as possible (including not having any at all -- ie not feeding the beast), or learning what forces have got the world so fucked up and how to best combat them, or teaching your children and others what it means to love.
But if your answer to "what do you do to try and make the world a better place?" is ultimately, "I sit in a corner and think about it", well, to me that just wouldn't be very satisfying.

and why can't some one do all the above? i only spend up to an hour on meditation. And the key is the power of the soul and the more souls focusing at the same time has greatly increased power. You may not believe that, but 10-20 minutes a day isn't going to waste all your time, so why not give it a try? No one has to join a religion or betray their jesus, just take some time and attract peace into your life and the world.

You can, of course.
But so far in this thread you've focused solely on the meditation/cosmic energy bit, which gives the impression (incorrectly, I would assume) that you're all for world peace, as long as you don't have to, you know,
do anything.

i'm doing plenty mostly studying the corruption of the system and learning how to fight it. But if you're lazy then a quick meditation is really the lest you could do.

You should really be reading the Bible then Rev if you want to study how to combat corruption.

My reaction to you posting such a dumb video.

been there done that. I have also read stuff that your precious bible writers thought would be better burned than learned by the people they wish to enslave. like this here

I don't know how you expect to find a way to fight the control powers of the world from the slave hand book of the biggest oppressors on the planet. I also don't know why you think meditation is such a threat to your god.

Your reaction to my dumb video is to post the video you think is so dumb, I know you're serious, that's why the laughing my ass off part of it is appropriate for this response.

There is wisdom to be found in many places. The Judeo-Christian faith gets full marks from me for being one of the first (recorded) faiths to come up with the idea that there is a loving god, as opposed to an uncaring pantheon of human-like titans, or at worst gods that actively needed to be appeased, lest they smite us just for the sheer fuck of it. And I'm not saying they had it straight off, either (c.f. the Old Testament, aka God Smites Practically Everybody).
The Catholic Church and its hundreds of offshoots (wait, all of which are the "one true faith"? I'm confused) get minus several million points out of 10 for being little more than aggrandized power and control structures, but that's just human nature I think. Any organization/structure can and will be compromised.
