And have you ever done a multi-part trade? Like 40 stacks of sandstone for 3 stacks of enderpearls or something? You might have to make multiple trips, meaning either your teammate has to log off for a long time, which they probably don't feel like, or you have to spend time running back and forth at your base every time you go back for more stuff, making the trade very long and inconvenient for the person you're buying from, which might piss them off.

I think you're having trouble imagining the problems that can come up because you don't actually play.

The issue isn't how often it causes trouble, the issue is the fact that it causes trouble at all for no gameplay benefit. Like I already said.

Honestly I barely give half a shit if this change actually happens or not. It's about the principle though. I'm not gonna let a perfectly good idea get shot down because of your half assed arguments. If it dies because of general lack of interest or nobody wanting to code it, I wouldn't consider it a massive tragedy.
