Event Prize

Today in the server I won the TNT rain event that had a prize of some lapis lazuli blocks. They told me to wait until all events are done to receive the prize. After all events were closed, I never got any prize.
Can I ask for it the next time an operator is online?

You're not supposed to get prizes from events, so go away

Yes, you can if the person who hosts it says there will be one. What's the point of winning the event? FUN?
