I'm looking for feedback on the border of the pvp world.

Is the current void a good wall? Did you prefer the bedrock, or glass? or something else?

I like the void better than any actual blocks for a border -- either made it seem like pvpworld was a fishbowl or something, because people inevitably built weird crap right off the walls.

I think we should remove the void because with it people can just jump off and do /world before they die to escape a fight. With bedrock there's no way of escaping

I disliked the walls, but el_andres raises a fair point. Some sort of compromise, perhaps? A world with void, but a short enough world that people fighting will die from the void before they're far enough away to /world out?

They could still jump off and if they have more than 2 hearts they can make it.

Just activate the /kill command if they cross a border... oh yeah, and have towers of diamond blocks sitting in the distance to troll noobs.

i've been in pvp alot but never seen or heard anyone done it before.

I know that Lone mentioned doing it once or twice. I've never tried it or seen it done, myself. I like morl0ck's idea, with the auto-kill.
