Nether reset?

So first off I want to make it clear: I am NOT resetting the regular world map
Now, it seems a lot of new nether content will be added in 1.9, I want to know what all your opinions on resetting the nether when 1.9 is out are. I know somebody (forget his name) has a permanent base in the nether, and obviously if bases would be destroyed by this reset I won't do it. Just want all your opinions

I'm all for a nether reset when 1.9 stable is out.

I'd like both worlds to be reset for 1.9.

Fine by me. I'm not playing much until I see 1.9 and how much clamor there will be for another reset, myself.

I have an important structure in the nether that is easy to recreate, but it took I think like 100 obsidian to make. If possible I'd like to not have to re-mine the 100 obsidian if it can either be refunded to me or the structure itself transferred (its rather small).
