With everything going on, I've decided that simpvp needs a new owner, and I've already found the perfect person!

The new owner is mostly anonymous, and so prefers to just go by the name owner.

Owner is a very dedicated Minecraft player, and is on 24/7, and never AFKs. Just be sure to address Owner properly by saying Owner in chat, and Owner will get right back to you!

(In other words I added a chat bot and named it owner, because I'm tired of PMC idiots asking for "the owner")

I've tried to talk to the owner but it doesn't respond. Is there some trick to it?

No, there isn't, but it's broken right now, it doesn't work at all. I'm going to try to get it fixed as soon as possible though.

And Owner is now back in business.

I knew there was something fishy about Owner. Wasn't sure if it was a bot or an admin, but my suspicions were piqued from the start.
