The wiki and forum accounts are currently linked, such that you use your forum login to log in to the wiki.

This setup is very old and is preventing us from updating the wiki software. Therefore, the wiki and forum logins are going to be split, so that you will have separate accounts for each. They will be split on 15 May 2021.

To continue to be able to login to the wiki, you should go to https://simplicitypvp.net/w/Special:Cha ... ionRequest and set a password for your wiki account.

Before the split the password you set there won't do anything, and you'll continue to login using your forum password. After the split, you'll login to the wiki using the password you set on that form, and you'll login to the forum using your existing forum password. You can set the same password for both if you want.

If you do not set a password on that page, you will not be able to login to your wiki account after the split.

I did it. After the split people will still be able to make new wiki accounts right? If they forgot to change the password. Or if they never had a forum account in the first place.

Yes, they'll be able to make new accounts, with a new username.

Note that if you're unable to login to your existing wiki account, an admin can also reset your password.
