That's a GREAT idea.. .Maybe a /c (message) or setup a /c command list. as in ... /cinvite (playername) and it sends an invite to a player, then that player types /c accept or /c decline. It seems simple enough.

Great idea, it's also possible to link minecraft chat to IRC so that everything that is said in the server is being read in IRC, and the other way around.
