It's just another strategy of gameplay. Much like "camping" or "spawn killing" or "barrrel stuffing" or any other call of duty cliches. I don't mind it. (I don't play call of duty. just throwin' that out there)

It's a lame tactic to use, but it shouldn't be punishable.

If someone has to resort to lame, cheesy tactics to beat me I consider it a moral victory.

Exactly. Besides, combatloggers always get to say hi to Mr. Lava when they log back in.

what is barrel stuffing?

If someone logs out just go away so they can't hit you right when they log in. It's an easily countered move.

barrel stuffing refers to running up to someone with a sniper rifle or any other gun really and shooting them point blank. Apparently it's frowned upon. and yeah xestia, that's why i don't really care about combat loggers-the lava that gets them after they log back in. I guess the only bad thing is that you don't get their armor/items assuming they had some.

so if you catch someone raiding your chest you have to destroy everything they have in order to get revenge?

combat logging should result in a slaying and all the items being dropped at your feet.

Yes, that's how it SHOULD be trouble. But we don't know when they are going log back in and i personally don't want to sit there staring at one spot for who knows how long.

i disagree. i think combat logging is part of the game, and you can deal with it with lava and other means. try digging a pit underneath your opponent and then mining in the area so you don't waste time. that way you get his items.
