Simplicitypvp.net Card Game

Hello everyone!
In the chat a few days ago, we had a fun discussion about a card game based on the admins of our server. It was all a joke, and I'm sure nobody imagined it could be taken seriously, but as I had a few hours on my hands I thought that some of our forum community could engage in this group project. I plan for the game to be somewhat like Yu-Gi-Oh or Elements (http://www.kongregate.com/games/zanzari ... e=elements) Please feel welcome to help make such an absurd idea a reality.
I have already drafted up some rules for how this game will work, and created a default card in Paint.net.
So far pianiseemo, mitte90, and Bloop_ have been made!

The pickaxe represents his mining, the sword is his attack, and the helmet is his defense. How these values will effect the game is mentioned in the rules.
Right now I'm looking for someone who can make a better default card. It has to somehow include their values and somewhere to list their effect/special ability.
Rules
These rules are going to have many problems, so this is what I need feedback the most on. Anything from minor adjustments to a completely new set of rules will be appreciated.
The objective of the game is to reach 500 diamonds before your opponent does.
Both players start out with one chest carrying 10 diamonds. A chest can carry as many diamonds as you like and you can spread out your diamonds to different chests as you buy them.
In your hand will be all of the admin cards you own. To bring a card onto the field, you must pay the required amount of diamonds marked on the card.
At the beginning of every turn add up the mining levels of all of the cards on your side of the field. You will gain this many diamonds.
During your turn you may use your cards on the field to do battle with your opponent's cards.
For may do battle once for each card on your side of the field.
Select the card that you want to use to attack with. Then select the opponent's card that you want to attack.
If the attack of the card you have is greater, the defense on the opponent's card will drop to 0.
When any card's defense is dropped to 0, it is removed from play and brought to the discard pile.
If is past your first turn and there are no players on the opposing side of the field nor structures guarding the chests, you may steal the diamonds in their chest(s)
You may raid one chest per player on your side per turn.
During your turn you may also trade in diamonds for items like equipment cards, or structure cards that will also be in the area of equipment cards.
You can use equipment cards as listed on them, and equipping them to one of your players. Structure cards will be played on the field delivering abilities/effects.
That's all I have for now, basically you will be in a race to mine 500 diamonds while waging a war. Please give me feedback on this.
There might be a few admins who will request me not to put them into a card, and in that case I will respect their interest.
