I praise Yuk for that. This is probably gonna eliminate 99% of xrayers, since that's about the percentage of morons among them :)

I got very excited for this too but then saw that my FPS was 2.

it only stops the % that use mods not texture packs. Unless it does, i suppose a new antixray might but i'm sure it's just they same as before. never the less the mod is the one to stop as burrying treasure is useless against it. I havn't played but as long as it doesn't kill the server i'm good with it

It's a lot of extra stress on a network to generate and send twice as many uniqe ores as usual every time it loads a new set of chunks.

I can hardly play with this new anti-xray, getting almost 2 frames per second. Either the efficeincy of the program needs to be improved, or it needs to be removed, it is too taxing on the performance of the players. I could hardly make it back to my base without falling into 10 different 1 block wide holes, and I can't navigate hardly anywhere.

And I had to combat log from a zombie. REALLY.

Not lagging, but the game crashes every 5 minutes... this isn't good.

How the fsck am I not getting any framerate drops on my monstrous 1.6 GHz rig... Seriously, the performance is exactly the same, I only noticed the antixray because I lagged while mining.

It is unbearable to most of the others anyway. Anyone playing MC on something like a laptop for instance will get extreme framerate drops, and almost nothing can be done to change it without accolating more memory to the program, because that's where the problem entirely lies.
