I've noticed that the nether's spawn portal seems unprotected, which means people can place lava all over the spawn area and make it difficult, if not impossible, to use the spawn nether portals. Also, I belive I saw someone disabled to portal at one time as well.

Is this intentional? If not, can you please reprotect it? Thanks.

I think making it unprotected is the right thing to do :)

booooooo your ideas suck and you should feel bad! Count yourself lucky yukar even gives you a portal. Normaly (in a perfect world) you need to build your own portal. So if you don't like the one covered in lava don't use it. If you want to use it so bad just protect your self. For every way you can be harmed in minecraft there is a counter measure. Quit your bitching yukar isn't your mother and he shouldn't have to hold your pansy ass hand all the time. I know due to the addition of the hard core game mode we can't make the claime any more but this server is supposed to be hard core. Fucking kids today!

We've decided to go with a minimalistic spawn, in that spawn there is no nether portal, so it was decided to unprotect the portal in the nether. If the portal is covered in lava, either clear the lava, or build another (hidden) portal that only you know of, so therefore won't get lava'd.

OKay, I was just wondering, because It has been protected for a while, but then it suddenly wasn't. Rev, I didn't need your bitching session, it was a simple question. Please refrain from spewing your bullshit out of that asshole you call a mouth in my direction. Thanks.

Yuk, what happens if spawn gets lava'd??? Do we still have the small protected area around the actual spawn? Because I've had that on a similiar server... and rev, lone has a point. Everytime someone you don't like speaks up you don't have to have a paragraph long bitching session, okay? At least all my posts aren't a bunch of rants dude......

i like lone i just don't like you. It's the idea that i hate and am passionate about. But i had no idea there wasn't even a spawn portal any more. So build your portal a couple hundred blocks away so it doesn'tlink up to the old spawn portal. On a seperate suggestion i'd say just remove the old portal sonew ones arn't compelled to link to it.
And none of my bullshit on here comes out of my mouth. I'm not in the habit of reading aloud when i type.
