Lava Pit was a nether project started by 4Pilot in September 2020 and finished on October 12th, 2020. It's a giant upside down pyramid with lava flowing down the sides acting like a large funnel, the center reaches down to y = 1 and goes all the way up to y = 121. The negative, positive diagonal highway goes right through the pit.
