Azpipia started as about 50 small pyramids that Pippenger created randomly in the desert. Azdin came across it years later and started expanding it until it covered nearly the whole desert. Pippinger wanted to create a wiki entry for it so they came up with the name Azpipia.

On October 28th, 2019, during The Wilbur-Francis War, the Battle of Azpipia took place here. The battle would ultimately result in a draw, with neither The Order of Wilbur nor the Church of Francis securing a victory.

Pictured below is Azpipia in 2017, prior to Azdin's additions. At the time the base had no name, and had been built anonymously in 5 minutes for no particular reason.
