Yukarion should leave the stone age and start an official Sim discord
We need an official discord to serve as the community hub. This includes higher standards of behavior, a support channel, a server news channel, and for the positions to be taken seriously. The discord needs to have players link their account with an in game command, and the discord invite needs to ...

Re: Admins should remove lavacasts at spawn.
Here's the problem with us just snapping lavacasts out of existence. It's far far too easy. I don't see how this is in any way a bad thing. It being easy means admins have less of an excuse not to do it. It's not like admins never world edit on sim haha, especially if something is impacting players...

Re: Admins should remove lavacasts at spawn.
Have there been any tests on their impact?KoriJenkins wrote: ↑Sun Nov 28, 2021 2:59 pm Maybe the vines should be removed. DKC seems to believe they're as damaging as cobblestone and they serve no purpose.

Re: Admins should remove lavacasts at spawn.
I wouldn't be the best person to give an opinion on this because my computer is too good to feel any of these effects. Personally, I do not think it is that big of an issue, but I would leave that up to others to decide. If it really is making the server unplayable to new players then I would suppo...

Admins should remove lavacasts at spawn.
If a player were to make a lag machine, admins would remove it. If a player were to make a machine that ruins FPS, admins would remove it. Admin interference is not uncommon on Simpvp. Spawn is a place all players must pass through. Even if it is nothing more innocuous than cobble, using a method in...

Change server name to "Simplicity Vanilla"
The server has not been about pvp for a long time. I would argue this has been true for well over 3/4th of it's life. People play the server to form teams, and build bases. /world exists primarily to trade, and is a redundant feature in itself with player portals. Data has shown that servers with va...

Enable the deepening when we update to 1.18
In 1.18 there will be a setting during the update process which will replace bedrock with deepslate, and add 64 blocks of depth to older chunks. This of course MUST be selected. Choosing not to do this would not only be morally heinous, but a blatantly incorrect decision. Anyone who opposes doing th...

Re: Sim PvP Needs Updated Jailing Policies
Problem with logic: If the lie doesn't matter because players always ask and get told they can appeal, then the lie is not an effective deterrent. It is a minor inaccuracy I agree, but I hate inaccuracies. It is a very simple fix that wouldn't take the time out of anyone's day. So why not just fix i...

Re: Sim PvP Needs Updated Jailing Policies
The log in announcement that every player sees every time they log in, claims that all offences result in permeant jails, without any warning. It claims to be very strict, no leniency. The official rules say ask first, ignorance is not an excuse. But some people get banned, some warned for same offe...
