My own ISP has DNS fits once in a while. I changed to openDNS a while ago and never looked back.

Sweet. And somewhere between 1.9 and Java 1.8 they DID fix crap!! Color me shocked but pleased -- I am now getting 60fps outside with water chunks loaded, where before I was getting <1.

Now I just have to figure out how to play the game again... :D

Hey Yukar, Apparently 1.9 fixes some of the perf issues my old & moldy computer has with the 1.8.x versions of Minecraft. Any tenative ETA yet on being able to move to 1.9? I'm a bit out of the loop and don't know anything about your current plugins, how long they usually lag official releases, ...

I think its lyser. I don't want to imagine there being more than one of them.

Heh. I've fallen for that enough times myself. I like the game but I am not very good at it. Too many possibilities and I have no feel for the, shall we say, heuristics of the gameplay. Problem with playing chess online is you never know if the person you're playing just plugged the board into Chess...

I've had the same question on a couple forums I run for years now, and so far so good (although I do get a tremendous amount of spam on the admin account from bot failures).
