I understand the concern here, but also don't see this as a solution.
As morlock stated:

You could also simply tape down your space bar and right mouse button with a stack of melons.

For some reason when I use an anvil and rename an Item, my client crashes. I believe this is just a bukkit error but if not it would be nice if it were fixed :)
