Re: Remove /world

I don't see the point in removing /world. This isn't a vanilla server and hasn't been one pretty much ever. There have always been features or plugins that dramatically changed how the game actually functions compared to vanilla Minecraft. End Spawn is already used for trading because people want to...

Re: Potentially Restoring Illegally Griefed Bases

Yeah those are my exact thoughts. Doesn't help either that Three Words and Wilburia (both found by means illegal today) were griefed by the builders. With illegal exploits I think it's clear. The question is with hackers specifically is how much do we want to discriminate against them? What if they...

Re: Changing player portal functionality.

This is a complicated issue in that I don't think it's necessarily an issue at all. I'll explain my thoughts point by point. Distance limitation/dimension limitation: On this I see reasons to agree and disagree. With a distance limitation you'd have my attention. I've long been of a mind that travel...

Re: Potentially Restoring Illegally Griefed Bases

The main question is should we include illegal exploits (essentially anything that isn't chunk trails and turtles) at the likely cost of creating whining? Strawman seemed to believe that exploits should be included since, outside of outright hacking, it's the most likely way a base would be found. ...

I'd also like to join this committee if we're doing that I agree, you're on the committee now. Re: Litematica pasting is suddenly broken on the build server?

Can confirm, is broken. "Unknown command. Type "/help" for help." Was working as recently as... the 13th. I used a lot of pasting then to make a repeating pattern on a large tower. iLxgend says it's been busted for 2 days. Wonder if any plugin updates, aside from the chat things,...

Re: Potentially Restoring Illegally Griefed Bases

There's a lot of opinions on the exact details here, but it seems people are universally in favor of the general concept of base restoration, unless I missed somebody. I personally don't care that much about the details, beyond some base guidelines I'll lay out, so I'd like to see if we can't move ...

Re: Possible Base Restoration and New Plugin to Find Cheaters??

If there's a way for items to be included in restoration, great. I do think, however, that the policy hasn't been tested even a little bit yet. Probably better to implement a barebones version of it, then expand the reach and scope of it as more admins are appointed to deal with the potential demand...

Re: Potentially Restoring Illegally Griefed Bases

@Korijenkins I get the sense that I wasn't clear enough, but my main point was that the griefing itself is sort of irrelevant as I stated above. I think our fundamental disagreement is the importance of "historical" sites near spawn vs the importance of an active base that a player is spe...

Re: Jailed for using "x-ray"

I do think a mistake was made. I doubt the great Yukarion considered the FACT that x-ray texture packs no longer work on 1.16.4! How silly of him! You say Lom is using x-ray? Very well, he will be jailed now with no investigation whatsoever. Your word, which is clearly worth a lot, is all that will ...
