Yeah exactly, there's no good reason to not have this as either a command you need to run hourly or just a toggle that turns them off until you type it again.

Why would you tie it to some arbitrary action and then force it on everyone on the server? People only support this because it kind of gets rid of phantoms, not because it's a good solution on how to do it. Anyone who wants membranes now has to wait an hour+ every time they log in or the server rest...

Yukar mentioned a possible restriction of needing to kill 100 phantoms for access to toggle them on the server, would be a pretty good solution imo
