20k is much better than 40k! and I personally would use them a lot, I dont think I'd live 20k out but simply having no limit decreases the chances of your place being found immensely. I think Oldolwa's solution would work. The main reason that I often dont want to go pvp at spawn is the travel time (it is agreed that spawn is where the vast majority of pvp occurs right?). I'm all for it, I'd like to be able to find more people instead of broadcasting my own coordinates. Plus the reduced lag would be phenominal and make fighting all the better.
