Hi Melvin. I want to congratulate you. I knew you were naive in how the world works, but this entire event brought much lulz to our little community of miscreants. So let me explain what happened, in shocking detail.
I leaked the cords. It wasn't box. It wasn't Rydoe getting stupid luck (well, that might actually be debatable) and stumbling upon your base. It was me. He asked, and he received. Nothing more, nothing less.
Now, let me explain my reasoning, as I'm sure you suspected this. If you didn't, and this news is both shocking and unexpected, I have no words, as you are not only ignorant, but not worth saving.
I came to you simply because I was in the building mood. You wanted me to make a ship, and I made said ship. During my stay, I learned more about you, which is something that turned out to be something horrid. You may know the phrase "the people you like the most, you know about the least". Well, this applied to you, and it also probably applies to me for you. Prior to me coming to your base, I knew little about you other than your name and frequency on the server. You were a frequent player, and seemed to be overall average. You were "that guy". We all know "that guy". He always answers the questions the teacher asks, even though everyone doesn't. He always goes to bed at a strict time, instead of being on the laptop in a dark room, groggily turning his head and realizing it's 2 in the morning. He always compliments a guy's attire, even after the guy rear-ended his car. That guy was nice, TOO nice for his own good. So I joined you, not because I wanted to be your friend, not because I came in to your base with the mentality "this mofo is going to get greifed up in his bumhole", but because, in the grand scheme of things, you were not a threat. You were the person who would least likely stab me in the back, which only makes this event holy ironic. I wanted to make a building (legitimately, I made an exact model in creative. Wanted to make a legitimate one in simplicity. Because I could), and your base seemed to be a nice place to put it. After all, you asked, and you received. So why did this OTHER thing happened? Well, there's another thing about "that guy".
Remember my quote? Well, here's where it applies. So, you meet "that guy", go over his house, spend some quality time with him, and you learn things about him. Things you did not know of before. He talks too much, but you decide to ignore it, because you're not rude. He thought he was funny. He wasn't. He thought he was high and mighty, and was on the moral high ground. In reality, he was rather naive. You see, during my escapades with dealing with your incompetence, Rydoe was acting as the devil on my shoulder. He asked to join your base. Whence this was happening, you whispered to me, and rydoe did the same. You asked if he could be trusted, and he told me of what he'd do to your base. I told you he shouldn't be trusted, and I told him that you deserved all he wished to do to you. Not because I had any malice towards you, but because you, and many like you, had a sense of undeserved importance. You made it out this far, you were the very thing others strive to be. You were planning out building designs, were well-supplied, and, most importantly, you were safe. And this got to your head. This isn't just you. I've seen this in many towns I've lived in. Eden was the first go-getter. But Avalon was the worst. A mighty town, 90k out. It had everything needed to be a successful town. But, like all great things, it failed. Not because of an act of God, not because of faulty wiring, but because of human incompetence. And you needed to learn that. Your town would fall. IT wasn't a question of if, it was a question of when, how, and why?
So why did I leak your cords? Because you left spawn, and didn't learn a valuable lesson. Trust no one. If you wish to know, Rydoe asked me for your cords. I didn't give them to him right away. I have a principle, you see, that I don't go after someone unless I have a reason. But as time went on, it became apparent you trusted me. You assumed that my near-clean track record meant I was safe. You needed to learn otherwise. I told him. I gave him the deal not to greif it until two weeks had passed, so I wouldn't have drawn suspicion, though apparently that wasn't an issue, since you didn't think me as the culprit. I had no plans to greif your base. Besides, the very act of leaking your cords was enough. Your base was going to fall, just not when I was there. I left, about 24 hours before the attack, and headed toward spawn. I don't regret my decision, especially not after this thread was the result. I don't regret the hardships and lesson I taught you.
You got fucked over. By someone you thought was your friend. Don't take it personally, but if it wasn't me, it'd be someone else. I just felt it would be a lesson you'd take well. But I see my lesson fell upon deaf ears. Instead of blaming yourself, you blamed others for your own incompetence. You blamed box for doing nothing wrong. Box may be a bitch (sorry hun, someone had to say it), but, luckily for her, her job as an admin doesn't care that she is one. She could talk like a sailor, but as long as she got rid of any hackers and made sure she didn't abuse those powers, she was fine. So learn from this lulzy mistake. And please, despite box's best wishes, think before you post. You'll do something stupid like this otherwise.

you seemed like somone who could build massive things and spend major amounts of time on a project,what i saw was somone different...
You showed up with an iron chest and pants a stone sword, you spent a maximum of an hour working at a time.
you obviously thought you were important and i really like you despite. theres one thing you need to learn
to like somone despite...

Tough love kiddo, that's what I was showing you. How do you think I survived so long on these servers? I have connections, and I know how the system works, mainly because I've been on the receiving end of said system, and I assumed you knew for being out so far. Turns out you just were out that far. So I used said connections to have your base destroyed. Once again, it wasn't out of spite, but to show you that nowhere is safe. If you don't like that concept, then fine, this server isn't for you. I don't particularly like faction servers (think the pvp/greifing here, but we actually put down scores...), so I won't be joining you. And if you're wondering why I had so few supplies, well, I don't really do much in fighting. Honestly, that iron is probably all the way from Avalon, given how little pvp I do. I'm more a builder, the guy who witnesses, rather than inflicts. You were one of the few people I've done harm to on this server. Should consider that something.
Does this mean that your attempts to "anger me" into abusing my powers are over? :) You should know we are more level-headed than that, and I'm quite the attractive fair lady, so your mean words mean nothing to me. Fatty.
