I also feel very strongly that being able to teleport to gather resources takes the 'survival vanilla-pvp' feel out of the game, which I liked so much about this server. This is the only server I've found that has stayed true to complete vanilla survival gameplay, and I would hate to see it diverge from that.

Out of the many times I've been to the pvp world to get wood, I've never encountered any sort of danger. I feel like I am cheating by simply teleporting far from my base to get wood, that I would normally have to embark on a treacherous journey to get; which, in my eyes is why Minecraft is so fun.

I think it's a good thing to encourage people to pvp, but the pvp world should contain no resources.

So there's my 2 cents :)

this server is not vanilla. If you don't want to get resources from the pvp world than don't. Other people doings so isn't going to make your game experience feel less vanilla.

I realize it's psuedo-vanilla, but any regular player wouldnt know the difference. Just thought i'd give my input on the situation, since im just getting back into the server.

I was simply stating my opinion, since that's what they were asking for. I dont care wether or not they take my words into consideration. Although I do appologize that my vulgar language has insulted you in such a way.

I still think making it smaller would be a good idea. I've never had a random encounter there, since travelling from one end to another takes about half an hour. It's too big and therefore too peaceful.

I agee, how about making it a 100 block limit? This'll still give us a nice 200 by 200 area

100 Blocks sounds good actually, though it leaves it open to lava-based travesties.

We could just manually remove lava from time to time if it gets out of hand. The size seems purrfect.
