Re: Upcoming /world reset
just makeit bigger and if they want it smaller next time go back to smaller
Re: Upcoming /world reset
I'm generally not a fan of blind voting, I think it's a lot better for people to post their opinions in text, and thereby perhaps have to explain why they believe what they do.LoneSoldier55 wrote:They weighed in with a written response. I just mean it would be easier to edit the origonal post and get a short, unofficial poll running to get a general idea of the consensus.
I'll give it another day for people to discuss.RevStoningpot wrote:just makeit bigger and if they want it smaller next time go back to smaller

yeah whatever happened to invisible borders? I want those back.U_B wrote:I mean that we could have an invisible border like we had three maps ago, but since it'd be a superflat map it would be obvious where the PVP area ended because the PVP devastation would suddenly stop.Yukar9 wrote:What exactly do you mean about that with the border?U_B wrote:How about a superflat map? I'd like to see a place where everything in it comes from the players, and you wouldn't need to put up any visible barriers because it'd be obvious where the pvp area ended.

Sarcasm? lol
Re: Upcoming /world reset
Either a town with a glass border or a void, i don't mind, so everyone can play with it, or a superflat world with a bedrock ground and border, so everything has to be brought by people.

I'm all for the super flat idea. It'd be very interesting to see what people'd do.

The void is fucking pimp, it adds another underground dimension to fighting.

if in the future we used super flat could we at least have more stone or dirt than the usual 4 blocks?

Re: Upcoming /world reset
If we make a super flat, it shouldn't be the normal superflat generator. That generation of the underground terrain is boring as fuck.RevStoningpot wrote:if in the future we used super flat could we at least have more stone or dirt than the usual 4 blocks?
Make a normal generation of the world, cut it along the axis with world edit, and fill in any holes.
Easy.

Re: Upcoming /world reset
that sounds good. If it's default super flat I'll harvest all the dirt in no time and there'd just be a bedrock floor left
