Boats are trash

So, I had my year-old 60k base griefed, and that cunt didn't even left an enderchest.

So I managed to grab one and set me on sail to move away.

I make like 200 blocks and chunks stop loading. I fall into the void, log out and in and I went 100 blocks back. Happens for like 1-2k.

Then, I stop for like 30s to look on my other screen and *boom*, insta-killed.

I'm sick of this bullshit. This ruins the whole fucking game and something has to be done with it.
Maybye a plugin who stops players to get fall damage while in a fucking boat for a start.

I feel for you a lot, the game's mechanics are utter shit because java.

Only issue with boats I had today with my travel was dismounting and retrieving the boat back. It wouldn't allow me to break it to pick it back up unless I slowed wayyyyy down and wait a couple seconds to dismount. Then everything else was fine.

I don't use boats any more. 1.6.1 broke them.

It isn't java, its the bozos coding.

Agreed, if the game is buggy as shit, it's because of Mojang's crap. I'd like to know how they do to break the boats without even modifying them.

You know any better voxel-based sandbox game, with more gameplay depth and features ?
Minecraft as a game-design is (was, until horses and shit) awesome, but It's current implementation is just trash, as a big part of content that Mojang added without notch.
