Re: Resetting spawn.
Enouh with the drama. Should we make an official vote?
Re: Resetting spawn.
No. Do not just start votes as soon as possible.
Actually I think I should remove the current poll, and change the permissions so people can't start polls anymore. There's too much confusion about them.

Quit multi-replying unless you're bumping with a good reason, quit responding to the cancer, stop trying to reset spawn.
Re: Resetting spawn.
There ARE structures near spawn, some of which are very old, and even the wasteland is impressive because of its sheer scale. It's a fascinating place to explore and erasing some or all of it to make things easier for noobs strikes me as being against the spirit of the server.

I am against this. I came here from another anarchy server, and the reason I initially decided to stay was because you guys have a fucked up spawn. Some new players might get scared by the destruction, but to me it meant that the server has a lot of traffic

Re: Resetting spawn.
I am against this. Spawn gives a lot of character to the server, and resetting it would erase our history. Besides, the mods taking such an active role in changing the server on a regular basic would be contrary to the spirit of anarchy.
I do think some of the ugly floating dirt pillars would be better gone, and that there should be more grass and trees around so noobs at least have a chance. I've been going around doing that a lot lately, if anyone wants spawn cleaned up but not erased they could donate some dirt or saplings to me. I'm preserving all the cool stuff around though, like the big shell from a lava volcano at x -300, the height limit minecart rail, and the cool floating obsidian bases above the clouds. I want spawn to be nice enough that more noobs can survive, but ruined enough to preserve the history and give them some stuff to explore.
I'm in favor of limited, player directed maintenance, but not any kind of regular reset from the mods.

I myself agree with resetting the spawn.

I don't mean this as an attack on your opinion, but who are you?snowfrog43 wrote:I myself agree with resetting the spawn.
