PvP World Ideas

No offense but a lot of these are straying off the point that we are trying to stay vanilla, and all these points and scores and shops are all too much, I personally think that a bigger /world can't hurt and also a lot more people went into /world before it was destroyed by lava and water a while back, now its a boring wasteland where no-one wants to go...

Just resetting /world would probably have positive effects

Also I tried to persuade some friends to join the server but one just left because it was just an empty wreck most of the time, I think the lack of an aethetically impressive meeting place dicourages players to go and then less people meet and then people get bored and then consequently leave...

Just some thoughts
-reset /world
-make it a little bigger (not too nessicary though)
-try not to become too un-vanilla whatever you do

We are not trying to stay vanilla, this has been a non-vanilla server from day one. We're trying to make it a better and more fun server.

No server can remain truly vanilla without having Minecraft's code exploited and admins severely underpowered.

The idea is for a simple PvP server, not a truly vanilla one. However, simplicity of a server usually translates to as few as possible addons, which means people want a vanilla server.

So, almost-vanilla.

I'm not thinking pvp world is affecting players that much, it's the players affecting it.

It's just become less popular because less people are on. I don't think there is anything at spawn like a sign that mentions it either so noobs don't discover it without us telling them about it. Most of the time they don't even go there when we talk about it. I also hardly see any regulars there because there simply is hardly anyone on.

The pvp world is fine the way it is but could use a reset and maybe made a little bigger. The biggest problem is we lack people online.

Well I've seen at least 5 in favor of a bigger / reset PVP world with no other changes. Any other input so far has mainly just been sceptesizm about existing ideas, rather than other ideas.

*edit or the other ideas suggested have had little support :P
