well as programming goes i understand calculators are easy (not that i could do it) but this still took a large town of space to build. I can't remember what all it did. I think it did add and subtract for sure and maybe multiply and divide i can't remember if it took double digit numbers or just single. Any how it's the most advanced redstone computer i've seen. I suppose the ultimate limitation to the redstone is that if the signal travels out range you lose it. so the whole thing needs to fit in 16x16x16 chunks or whatever.
For just building i remember a life size starship enterprise that was cool. Another old one, i haven't looked at much minecraft stuff lately.

The glass case is part of it. It's mirrored on the other side as well. The dimensions were something around 5 Rows x 10 Layers x 2 Side of those each, with an average pallet being 6x8.
