What he did was wrong, yes, an unfair adantage. But, it doesn't say in /rules, and I've been in his situtation but I didn't get away with it so if you're going to ban him ban me too I guess.

Just to clarify, would you mind telling in detials how you are related to his situation? Did you get gm1 and spawned in items and attempted to hide them in chests like iQuint did? also, did you attempt (or rather managed) to share these items with the public?

as this kind of thing has happend a couple of times before and have resulted in tempban, it can be assumed its not allowed, iquint knows this. the /rules dont say unfair advantage, true but gm1 is OBVIUS not allowed on a SURVIVAL SERVER, and have been decided to be against the rules already.

ps the rules also say "no varnings, no second chances, no excuses. ignorance is not an excuse" still u want a tempban/pardon? so the /rules need to be followed to the leter only in ur defense?

Out of curiosity, who issued the warning to Tuffy9? Seems rather odd to let someone who abused GM1 off with a warning and nothing more.

I dont remember Tuffy9 ever obtaining GM1. iQuint is the only person who managed to obtain GM1 in overworld.

Other people did get tempban, but why should they be compared to iQuint's case? This case is alot more seriouse.
Mitte is talking about the cases similar to Wolfbitten's, Wolf did not know that using the block glitch that enabled him to see the diamond ores a few blocks beneath him was forbidden because it was not in the in-game rules. But after i showed him the rules on the website he immediately accepted his mistake because he knows that it was a glitch. (reference) We admins then decided to pardon him after investigating his digs and confirming that it really was just a mere coincidence that the glitch occured while underground and happened to see the ore, and that he was not using xray.

that doesnt mean its worthless. Either way, this is a survival server. Its only obvious that a normal player should not be able to spawn items in, no matter how he obtained gm1 but with only one exception, if it was granted to him by the server owner or an admin.

if the "robber" walked into the wrong house and when realicing walked out again yes i would pardon if the robber on the other hand stole money on the way out and then used "the money was just laying there, did not know i wasent allowed to take them" as defense. and we only have death penelty yes i would shoot him myself;)

Not that I didnt expect some kind of punishment because when I was doing it I knew it was wrong but did it anyways , Like wolfbitten his case. He was told it was glitching and did it anyways but got pardoned

I agree on locking this thread until the admin team comes to a decision.

But with regards to tuffy (was it tuffy? I remember it happening, but couldn't remember who,) they got gm1 unintentionally, the same way as iQuint, but they stayed at spawn and did not spawn any items, and told an admin, so nothing ever happened of that.
