Woah, just heard about this. Seriously so much happening to Minecraft right now.

Not that I like Microsoft, but they're not going to rewrite it from Java, so I'm not that worried.

At least it's not Oracle buying them out, lol

And the other Mojang games were never going to be supported on linux no matter what.

But, if it all does go to hell, I'll start a minetest server.

It's not done yet, but Mojang haven't dispelled the rumors.

Yeah, and the great thing about minetest is that it's in most repositories, so just yum/apt-get install it.
