Are you still serious about removing /world? How many more are there going to be?

I don't know, that all depends on what happens with portals.

While we still have /world and if you want to take another map from somewhere else, maybe Westeroscraft is a good option. Maybe we could use a section of King's Landing from GoT like we used the modern city, that could be neat.

my simpsons map doesn't seem to generate to much interest standing alone you could use that for /world instead of keeping it up on it's own. I'd just really love to see it become a trashed war zone. Although you would probably have to /replace diamond emerald iron etc. to stone or something. Maybe more trouble than it's worth but that's all i got for a suggestion.

I don't know if the Simpsons house would be big enough, good suggestion though. Maybe if it happens we can have a different map, and then add the house to a part of that map.

Could you give me an example of a floating island map, hugo?

it may sound boring but i like randomly generated landscape with a fixed spawn.
Then i can build a castle next to it to try to claim it as my territorry and impose taxes on all :D

I agree with this, even though it's not how I would have said it. The safe spawn totally ruins whatever PvP feel is left in /world, so I think we should stick with random spawning if we can. Indigo used it to build some neat castles, but nobody else took advantage of it and it was just boring as hell honestly.

I also think natural wilderness is worth considering as an option too. We've had some neat /worlds like that, like the one with an NPC village under a natural cliff overhang, and the amplified desert /world. Natural terrain doesn't necessarily mean boring.
