You could use ice. If you did dispensers in a certain formation, they'd flood the platform and re-freeze. The downside being that you'd have to wait for it to freeze, and the inflexibility of having to build it in a snowy biome. Other than that, I can't think of another block that's capable of regeneration like that.

So after more than a year without any updates, here are some pictures of the castle and some farms I took today. Note that many things are missing since they are either not finished so I didn't want to show them or I forgot about them.

We also conduct experiments on them. But the population doesn't know about it.

And last a picture of a chess board we made in our game room. Everything in that room is still under construction. We also have a "connect 4" game where morl0ck wrecks anyone.



We have also made a flag representing our castle.
