I was just wondering what happens to the nether as we reach 1/8th of the world border. So I did some testing. First off, I checked that the world border really is 30m for both the overworld and the nether. And I checked that you can go to 30m in both worlds.
So, what happens if you go to 30m in the nether, and build a nether portal? You get sent to 30m in the overworld. If you then go back in the portal there, you get sent to 3.75m in the nether. If you then go back into that portal, you get sent back to 30m in the overworld.
Nether stupidity after 3.75m blocks
Re: Nether stupidity after 3.75m blocks
Fortunately, I guess, we can utulize our /portal plugin for getting around that, just hope to god nobody breaks it. If you die, that /portal is your only way to get back without traveling 26.25m in the nether and hanging yourself in the process... I wonder if anyone would go 30m in the nether and build a full-fledged base right there and not in the overworld.

So this server does have a limit? I wonder if anyone has built near it.

The server has the vanilla limit.
Per https://simplicitypvp.net/w/Distance_traveled_records it doesn't seem anybody is anywhere near it.
