Well, I think that in a few updates, we should change the map. Of course things will change afterwards, but the least we could do is update on occasion.

I know everyone is gonna hate the idea of this, and it will never happen, but, I wouldn't mind starting a new on a fresh new map.

well, then in that case, would it be possible to supply players with an ocelot (and possibly, villager) spawn-egg? it's a shame that we'd have to completely miss out on those features...

Do you mean giving players spawn eggs? Yeah giving players spawn eggs is NOT going to happen. Unless, of course, they were one-use in survival mode, and you could win one from events. I think that would be cool, but not if they were infinitely usable like in creative. Otherwise... Well, yeah.

spawn-egg was in the singular tense above. meaning one per person. just so that we don't miss out on features.

In creative, though, spawn eggs can be used multiple times. I am unsure if this is because of the creative mode or if this would hold true to spawn eggs used by players in survival mode. If they are infinite, not gonna happen, trust me.
