What instrument(s) do/does everyone play here?

Idk, the specifics, and a lot of instruments can play lots of different parts. for example, me and the saxes get to play a lot of french horn stuff because we don't have one in our band. We have like 50 people and 20 of em are flutes so it's awefully balanced.

I played the trombone in my high school band. We were one of the best in our state, and one of the top 100 in the US. We went to the MMC (Michigan Music Conference) in my senior year. Playing 7 pieces in 45 minutes is not for the light-hearted. Sadly, I've learned that my music program is being gutted due to austerity measures. Well, it happened in the 1980's, so I guess its happening again...

Not a single trombone in my band... ;( Right now I'm only 14 but when I get older I want to practice lots and get into a legit better band and not the shitty high school one im in right now... but we get to go on a trip to San fransico in a few months. Pretty sick ^_^ oh and world i feel for ya buddy. was it that kids weren't wanting to play in it or was the band just pure shit? Some kids just don't want to play. They're such pussies, they think spit is disgusting. or theyre dumb popular kids who can't play shit... i mean when i was in grade 7 there were like 10 kids who couldn't play sax, but they chose it cuz it was 'cool'
