GETTING THE FUCKIN STORY STRAIGHT

Alright, let's clear something up on my part:
When I crossed the world border it wasn't with a malicous intent. I just wanted to explore the outside of the border/find eden.

THIS NIGGER however uses an exploit and gets Gamemode 1. Instead of doing what someone should have done, which is notify an admin about it, he instead chooses to blatantly cheat on a survival server by filling his inventory with diamond. And to take it further, he attempts to distribute this false wealth to other people on the server despite it being against the rules.

If anyone so much as tries to pull the "he didn't know" clause they ought to join him.
He took this bug and exploited it as much as he could, thank god someone caught him before it got to the point of Moocraft where a double chest of diamond armor is chump change.

Miniwimi cheating is any unfair advantage PERIOD. Your a friend but you should have been banned when you did what you did. If I remember correctly you even said you thought twice about doing it. (That Means you should not have done it.) Quint intended to make more things and even told Deflow that he added items to the game; that he gave away to other players giving the players he gave them to an UNFAIR ADVANTAGE he should have been perma banned period. How many players got the shaft because of what he did? What he gave away? I am on nearly every day I see new players join and after a few they leave because of being killed over and over or because they don't have the skill to play here; that's the game.
If admin is not going to follow the rules they set forth; why have them at all. If you and he were not players that had been on here a long time I am sure you would have both been booted right off the bat.

Not butthurt at all; actually just real sick of people cheating and always having some lame ass excuse. Nothing against you personally; but then again maybe it is against you. You were the one that did it so you are the one that should pay.

Would this have been a such of a big deal as it is right now if he filled his inventory with useless items?

If he spawned a bunch of feathers and gave it away to players, he would still be punished for spawning items, for failing to notify an admin sooner and depending on how he obtained the gm but it would not be this serious as it will not affect the economy severly and i would consider that this person does not have ill-intents. In this sort of scenerio, the punishment would be minimal, essentially he will be charged for failing to informing an admin before spawning items in.

-It was a bug/glitch.
-Lucky for us, Renfox and Pippinger was sensible enough to know what is right from wrong. What if it was someone else who happened to be at /world at that time and picked up those items without saying/mentioning anything about it? I dont think that is detectable by the console logs.

hello all,

i really hope iquint will get unjailed because he really didnt mean to cheat i believe.

He tried it out but only cause it happened so strangely and was probably curious to explore it.
not to abuse it but just investigating it..
he never wanted to loose being able to play on this server or have an unfair advantage over others by cheating.

i think this really isnt worth a real ban and i hope more people will give him a second chance..

isnt life also about second chances when someone has the benefit of the doubt ? ( i dont know if that translated good from a dutch saying :) )
