So i'm giving this a go. I'm on hardcore but it seems you didn't actually say play on hardcore you just said quit when you die but oh well. I'm building a plane up at y41 to have a safe base without slimes other plans i had was build a stair block floor or a flooded floor once i get a safe place to work from i should have no problem staying alive indefinitly.

The problem with a stationary base, Rev, is the villages. They're the only source of these items necessary for the challenges.

So build a stationary base that neighbors a village? and then venture out to find other villages once you render that one dry. By that point, you should have enough materials to survive for a good bit.

But lavadude, the challenges involve traveling to more than a few villages, and by the time you can make a decent base, you'll have to leave it. Rev is saying that he'll survive indefinitely at his base, but he won't be able to travel if he stays there. :P

it's not that hard once i build a base i can travel through the sky looking for more towns. and frost 1.1 just came out so i doubt any one was doing this ages ago and no one even cares what's posted on some retard site

My current score here is a hardcore world with level 37 exp, 17 stacks of slimeballs, 12 diamond, 49 obsidian, 34 apples, blah blah, the rest doesn't matter much
