The current policy is to not spawn anything, but only take it back from the raider. So if a raider uses some of the stuff, only the unused stuff is returned (as returning all the stuff would require spawning it from nothing)
1) Hackers do get banned, but not instantly, they have plenty of time to do all sorts of things with what they've raided, so inflation does occur, especially in cases like this one, where we're talking stacks of blocks of ores)
2) This has nothing to do with legit xray cases, this has to do with people xraying themselves to abuse the old spawning policy (the one where the used items were spawned in from nothing to make sure the raided got all their stuff back)

Re: Compensation Policy
if the stolen goods are not recovered there is no way to know where they are. So if you spawn to replace them there may be doubles. I wasn't neccesarily concidering inflation before but it is a very valid point. And yes ruler it is hard to keep safe from an xrayer inside 5K and i'm pretty sure i brought that up before the limit was voted in which is why my official position on this matter is no compensation. The people knew the risk of giving away their freedom but did it any how. Don't know who said it first but "You made the bed, now it's time to lie in it"

Re: Compensation Policy
Ok I see the point. But now I don't understand how can one raid himself. Isn't it easy to check who the raider was?
I am starting to think that the limit creates more problems than solves, even though I am not a fan of an infinite map...

Re: Compensation Policy
My point is we pretty much lost all of our stuff and so most of it was destroyed, why shouldn't that stuff be compensated for?

Re: Compensation Policy
And yukar you accuse me of raiding myself? If I did that I would be IP banned. As would anyone else who used a second account to raid their base and blame xray.

Re: Compensation Policy
the thing is that people have said that they had more stuff then they had.. like they had 10 diamond but said they had 10 diamond blocks. now its easyer to check but it take time to check all xray claims

Re: Compensation Policy
But when people had a load of stuff and they lose it all..... I'm down a few stacks of dis at least I'd say
Re: Compensation Policy
waron, as sad as it is you lost your stuff, I'm not going to begin granting exception. If I did that we might as well change the policy entirely.

Re: Compensation Policy
Yukar, if you don't change this policy you are going to start leaking players. The only reason I stayed was because we had backup gear. Some might not be so lucky.
