Although Consoles do indeed need to be grinded down, Game Devs like making shit for consoles because it is a set system req, so it is like making something with a set amount of requirements. Now, I know that games tend to be "lowered" down, but consoles have their place. I rarely play xbox. And I'm not much a pc gamer (my netbook sucks ass)

2) Games can be accidentally deleted from the drive or tampered with, but this can be solved by re-install.

Actually, consoles are more likely to be accidentally thrown out the window or have beer spilled all over. How the f*ck do you "accidentally" delete a game...

I think there's more to it than that, but i see what you're saying.

Oh, I'm not saying that I'm completely right, just pointing out that consoles are just "dumbing down" games, same as they aren't killing the PC market. Honestly, I think I'll probably go multi-platform, as PC games have things (like RTS) that consoles can never have
