You can't tell much by lookinng at it but this is my disc/Xp grinder collection point. It's 4x4 with a 20ish block drop from the mob spawning floor. You can use what ever grinder type you like best and just have it deliver the mobs to a pit rather than a killing machine. The obsidian is cuz creeper accidents may occur. There is a window on each wall so you can line up skeletons with creepers as they try to shoot you. Two lower holes on eighther side are used as drop pick up slots.

If it were an only zombie and skeleton grinder, i'd say to use splash insta health 2, as it takes most out after a long drop in one shot. Unfortunately, it won't affect creepers, spiders, etc. Only zombies, skeletons, and zombie pigmen.
