After being disconnected from this forum for 6 days or so. I read all this thread from page 9 (the last page I read before disconnecting) and I must say that the people voting for banning it have given away good arguments and proven solid points in this argument. On the other hand, the people voting against it are going around in circles and saying the same stuff over and over.

I have thought about this and I will change of side. I think it should be banned. Because of the simple reason it is a glitch and exploiting any glitch in this server is forbidden and should lead to a ban. Mojang have not fix this maybe because of ancient arguments I gave, but I now think there's more chnaces that Mojang have not fixed this because of the little population in the whole MC community exploiting this.

I don't know if I can do this but I would like to change my vote from "No" to "Yes".

For this to take effect, I'd like a concrete proposal to be formulated.

Do we want to consider it a glitch? Do we want to consider it a hack? Do we want to add a fourth rule forbidding it?

I'm gonna bring this back up. I don't feel we can do a vote without having removed all ambiguity to what we want to do.

just use/make a plugin that hinder anyone from setting blocks on the roof. the already placed portals are a bit harder to fix.. maybe instead do a drowning effect if ur over the roof.

But then it would be useless in 1.7, because you can just use the new potion that lets you breath under water for a very long time? Why not just make "fell of the world" effect instead?

You guys are getting too complicated with this problem. Here's an easy way to fix it:

Add 1-3 layer(s) of bedrock above the roof. That will suffocate anything trying to get up. And it will not cause lag.
