"Spawn" doesn't just refer to the 50 blocks you spawn in. "Spawn" usually refers to the wasteland that has been forced upon the land around it where there's no resources. What YOU want to do is create an easier way to get out of the spawn. But that's stupid if it can already be done. Hell, i'd like it to have that huge ass challenge system that Yukar made to get out of the spawn itself, so it filters newfags from people with a decent will and mind. Borderline, nobody is going to vote for something that makes the easy attainable without thought.

It's not in spawn. There is a forest around it.

Maybe you didn't get what I said.

"SPAWN" REFERS TO THE WASTELAND AROUND THE ACTUAL SPAWN ITSELF. THIS INCLUDES ALL AREAS DEPRIVED OF RESOURCES, NOT JUST WHERE THERE ARE NO TREES. I GIVE NO FUCKS WHERE IT IS, IT IS NOT NEEDED.

Clear enough?

Not really. Do you not know what a forest is? Also there are wild chickens, multiple herds of sheep, and I think a few cows. there is also about three to four farms in the area. I will admit there is no sugarcane in the immediate area. Also, why do you care? The idea is this, if they can make it to The Pantry then they have successfully staved off starvation, so why not give them some resources to help them on their way? Oh, and you're right it is not needed; I want it, so I made it.

So if there's wild animals, why do you need to make more food than needed? Last I checked, you can punch a cow to death and you're set. Ill be sure to drop near spawn and destroy anything and anyone I see.

I'm trying to build a clan/nation/corporation. Some sort of group of people, so I built a place to recruit from that is not my home, and, now, I plan to buy semi-intelligent spawn rats with food and knowledge on how to survive. Most will betray me, go out into the wilderness, die, and become spawn rats again. But some might decide to stick around, then the will be my rats, and I will send my rats hunting.

You mean you're going to build an army of the least intelligent players on the server? You'd be better off breeding hundreds of wolves. In fact, I'd rather have 100 tamed wolves rather than 100 spawnrats with iron armor and diamond swords. Because in the end before the fight, I'd have 5 spawnrats with iron armor and diamond swords. Have fun spending 2,400 iron ingots and 200 diamonds only to loose 190 diamonds and 2,280 iron ingots. And have the rest of the spawn rats kill themselves by falling off of a small cliff.

What makes a spawn rat the least intelligent? I think you are confusing stupidity and ignorance. Also, wolves bark too much, can't take direction, can't build, and they don't respawn. In a months time you'll have no wolves left. I'll still have five rats. Nice edit :p. Who said I would give them anything but food? You should read more carefully.

In a months time I could breed my 100 wolves easily into about 10,000 wolves with heavy losses along the way. Rotten flesh is easy to get. If wolves bark too much you can just delete the Bark.ogg or turn down your sound. "Can't take Direction" sounds like an argument that carries no weight, so that's not new. The only way to build something more elaborate than a box correctly is to do it yourself. And even then, they'd probably screw up the dimensions. And of course they respawn. They respawn in the forest. Everywhere. And can be bred easily. Well into the one-hundred marks.

Also, if you can say that a player that joins the server in hopes to greif a house twenty blocks from spawn and make someone mad, punches players in diamond armor because they can, asks where trees are, and are one-hundred percent going to betray you for a block of cobble stone, is intelligent, you must really have the marks set low for intelligence.

AND dogs use potions Apollo much mire effectively than spawnrats. Dog + strength 2 = PWNAGE.
