You can, but all that they shield you from is the flailing tentacles of squid. Boats still break if they hit one, though.

Mobs notice you and set up ambushes, but there has been so many updates that the mobs overload your computer and it explodes.

I wish there were goats in Minecraft.

Mo' creatures gets installed to the official minecraft and you have a lot of goat pets, but you die of hunger and the goats eat all your diamond stuff and you rage quit minecraft forever...

Pigs can fly, but the game's just gone to hell, become some little ten year old's bitch, and nobody outside of middle school feels inclined to play it anymore.

I wish that the game was more simple. At some point, the extra features are just pushing it too far.
