I like it. I can't do any thing with windows. they shove so much security bullshit down your gullet that you're not allowed to do a damn thing with it. when i was trying to get ubuntu on the first laptop i bought, i tried to download on my workplaces internet connection. even after uninstalling norton, turning off firewalls, setting every setting i could find to the lowest security, windows would not let me connect cuz it was a public connection. With ubuntu I don't even need to ask it to connect it jumps right on it. but what i'm really loving is my, almost, double powered processor. I can finnaly play minecraft nice and smoothly again.

is wine supposed to work? I've never been able to install/run anything with wine. And then when i uninstall wine i find it has corrupted my shit i.e. it will try to open text files with notepad even though notpad is gone and i never wanted the fucking gay ass note pad to begin with. Surely there is a better and effective way to run an exe program. Also wine is just windows and windows can fucking suck it. I won't let the programers who refuse to make universal software force me into using microsoft products. If they don't wnat linux users using their products then fuck em i don't want their shitty software any how. But I do want to be able to run my fallout 2 and it won't work in dosbox or wine. And i'm never installing wine again since i need to re install my os just to get rid of it completely.

Try PlayOnLinux - as far as I know it contains presets for wine for specific games.

Damn that's a good attitude. Wish I was independent of such software.
