What happened to pvp castle anyways? Was it ALL torn down?

Last I recall, a few weeks after I took all the furnaces from it, someone actually took the time to tear the whole thing down. What a nice amount of cobblestone steps they got.

oh well if it's gone fuck it. The openness and bridges was a type of tnt proofing idea i had. not that it's tnt proof but it would take a lot of tnt well placed to do serious damage. I had hoped it would've left a nice ruin, but if some one really needed those steps oh well.
